JPG to PDF Converter
Put photos, screenshots and scans into a single PDF, one image per page. ClearConvert does the work inside your browser, so the pictures stay on your device.
How to Turn Images Into a PDF
- Open ClearConvert with the button below and drop your pictures on the drop zone, or click it to choose them. You can select several files in one go.
- Put the pages in order. Drag a row by its handle to move it; the list from top to bottom is the page order. Remove a picture with its × button, or add more with “+ Add more images”.
- Pick the page size, the orientation and the margin.
- Press Convert.
- Download the PDF. A single picture keeps its own name (holiday.jpg becomes holiday.pdf); several pictures are saved as images.pdf.
What You Get
Every image becomes one page, in the order of the list. Each picture is scaled to fit inside the margins without being stretched, and it sits in the middle of its page. Transparent parts of a PNG turn white. A photo that the camera stored sideways comes out the right way up, because the orientation tag saved with the photo is applied. JPG and WebP pictures are stored in the PDF as JPEG; PNG pictures are stored without loss.
The Options
Page size. A4, Letter, or Fit to image. Fit to image makes each page exactly as large as its picture at 150 DPI, plus the margins: a photo of 1600 × 1200 pixels gets an image area of 768 × 576 points, about 27 × 20 cm.
Orientation. Auto turns a page sideways when its picture is wider than tall and keeps it upright otherwise, so a square picture gets an upright page. Portrait or Landscape uses that orientation for every page. With Fit to image this setting has no effect and is switched off.
Margin. None, Small (10 mm) or Normal (20 mm), the same on all four sides.
The choices apply to every page of the PDF. They are not saved: reload the page and the defaults (A4, Auto, Small) are back.
Which Images Work
JPG (also .jpeg), PNG and WebP. GIF, BMP, TIFF, AVIF and SVG files are not supported, and the page tells you so instead of producing a broken PDF. iPhone photos in HEIC format are not supported either: export or share the photo as JPG first, then add it. A file that only pretends to be an image is refused with a short message, and a damaged or cut-off picture stops the conversion with a message naming that file, before any PDF is made.
The pictures are never uploaded. Once the page has loaded, the conversion even works with the internet switched off.
Privacy
Photos often carry hidden EXIF data: the GPS position where they were taken and the make and model of the camera. ClearConvert redraws each picture before it goes into the PDF, so none of that ends up in the file you share. The page also remembers nothing about your conversion; the options are gone when you reload.
Convert JPG to PDFLimits
Very large images are scaled down to the browser’s limit of about 16.7 million pixels, for example 4096 × 4096. A big PNG can take a few seconds, and the progress line says so while it works. The PDF holds pictures, not text: there is no text recognition (OCR), so words in a photographed document cannot be selected or searched in the result.
How many images can I combine?
There is no fixed number. In our tests, 100 photos of 1600 × 1200 pixels went into one PDF of 100 pages.
Can I change the order after adding images?
Yes. Drag the rows until the list is right, then convert. If you change the list or an option after converting, the old result is discarded so you never download an outdated file.
Is it free?
Yes, with no account and no watermark. The PDF contains only your pictures.
